Heat can cause fading and shrinking to the garment as well as degrading the print faster. It’s recommended to wash on a gentle cycle if possible
Hang dry
If you have to tumble dry do so on a low-temperature, gentle cycle.
High temperatures can cause damage to both garments and prints
Wash inside out
Doing this allows for some extra protection from other items rubbing against the prints while it’s being washed
Do not bleach
Using harsh detergents and bleach will fade the garment and damage the prints.
Do not iron on prints
Ironing over the prints will damage them.
Turn the garment inside out should the garment need to be ironed
Headwear
Do not bleach
Using bleach or harsh chemicals can cause the cap to discolour, damage the material of the cap as well and weaken the structure of the cap.
Do not machine wash or dry
Machine washing or drying can cause the cap to shrink, warp or lose its’ shape. It can also cause damage to the branding
Spot cleaning
Use a damp cloth or sponge water only to wipe away any dirt or marks. Doing this regularly will help preserve the quality of both the cap and the branding.
Using detergent
For the more stubborn marks and stains, use a gentle/mild detergent suitable for the material and gently wash it in cold water, using a soft cloth or sponge to clean the stains. Don’t use bleach or harsh detergents.
Drying
Air drying is the recommended method to dry a cap, though it is not recommended to use pegs to hold the cap as it can leave peg marks. Prolonged sun exposure can lead to fading.
Place the cap on a flat, well-ventilated space and leave it to air dry. When thoroughly dry, gently push it back into shape as needed.
